Symptoms:
1. When you lock the car via remote control, when there is 80% rate that the door can not be locked, it means the motor is faulity and stopped working.
2. When the door lock can be loked sometimes, sometime been locked, or sometimes can be opened, sometime stuck in half way and you need to press few times to open it, it means the motor is almost aging enough,the torque of the motor has become smaller, the power of the motor can not be able to carry the lock module spring any more.
3.During driving, after door locked,you can open the door from inside for locks with issue.

1.Is it easy to repair the door lock moudle assembly?the inside motor easy to change?
Yes, since the lock mudule is fixed with screws, so you can open it easily with screwdriver, and convenient to exchange the motor and install back.
2. Is it better to change door lock module or just the motor?
Exchange the lock module will cost 250 dollars above, however the motor just cost tens of dollars which is a huge price difference.
and as we all know the material of the door lock module age is usually over 20 years, so after exchanging the motor it means you get a new Genuine lock module, it is just like exchnage a battery, so it is better to replace the motor.
